Suggest Treatment For Ankle Pain After An Impact Injury

I hurt my ankle playing soccer now once I put pressure on the heel I.E. walking/running the front of my ankle really hurts there is no swelling and it occurred off an impact injury. At first it felt like my foot was disconnected from the ankle but then it got better I iced it and took care of it went to a couple more practice but less than a week later it started bothering me very badly. I can barely move. That being said There is still no swelling.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It could be a contusion. Fracture is unlikely.

As of now you can use analgesics/anti-inflammatory combination like aceclofenac/serratiopeptidase for symptomatic relief.

You can also apply icepacks for symptomatic relief.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
