hello. about four years ago i had an anal fissure which wouldnt go away and ended up having surgery to cure the problem. it has now come back and i am in a lot of pain. i m trying all the usual creams but have very sensitive skin in that area so it just gets worse what do you recommend?
An anal fissure can be treated through surgery. I recommend consulting a surgeon for the treatment. Meanwhile, I recommended soaking in warm water for relief. I also recommend to drink liquids and avoid constipation.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
