Suggest Treatment For Achy And Sore Throat As Z Pak Did Not Work
Seen in urgent care Friday morning. Achy, sore throat with blood blisters on tonsils. No white patches or pustular areas on tonsils. No fever. Today day 3 of Z pack. Feel better but still achy with stiffness in neck. Viral with underlying infection? Also have headache.

Hello,
If you are feeling better than before then you could continue the z pack for 2 more days that is total for 5 days.
This could be viral infection and will settle down .
You could take antipyretics and anti inflammatory medicines in addition.
Luke Warm saline gargles would be useful for sore throat.
