OBGYN 's  Response
Hi Ms. Samantha,
After any procedure on the pelvic organs, it is usual for some after pains to exist. This could be due to the positions adopted during the procedure, the result of instrumentation, the spasm of tubal movements and so on. If the pain has subsided on its own with no further exacerbation, it may be ignored. If not, please contact your consultant for further evaluation and management. Also, watch out for any spotting or bleeding through the vagina. Maintain good rest, avoid sexual intercourse and follow up at the time of the expected period. Hope this helps.
