Retinitis pigmentosa (RP) is characterised by a progressive retinal degeneration leading impairment of vision.Progressive loss of peripheral vision and often central vision is usual. Most cases are due to a mutation in the gene for rhodopsin.Vitamin A palmitate and omega-3–rich fish oil might slow disease progression but has no beneficial effect on visual acuity or fields.whether is there any acupuncture treatment available ,i have no idea.thank you
