Suggest Time Frame To Take Advair Q12

new med advair Q12 hours ordered for my mother 75 yrs old COPD 1st exacerbation never on any meds before - she normally isn t up until noon ish and often goes to bed about 9 pm - is that time frame acceptable in general rather than Q 12? She is just out of hospital today - the pulmonologist is a new dr. I met once while she was in hospital - we are to follow up in a week.

advair is prescribed to prevent new flare ups or worsening of COPD. this medicine should be used strictly as per the prescription and not more than the doctors prescribed period.any dobts regarding this medicine use should be discussed thoroughly with the one who prescribed.so,it is better you discuss in detail about your doubts with the concerned pulmonologist.till that time you have to go as per the prescription.
