Is Switching Back To Advair Advisable?

I had been using advair for over 12 years until my provider (Cigna) stopped covering it s cost. Then they switched back to advair. In order to keep costs down the cigna health spring pharmacist recommended Dulera over the symbicort they had previously covered. Since being off of advair my condition has deteriorated. It has been 14 months since I have been off of advair. Now that it is covered again is my best choice going back to advair or keep giving dulera a try ....ive went from symbicort to dulera after using it for just a little over a year. Dulera is somewhat stronger but neither helped me as much as advair. my strength for advair was 250/50

Hi,

Should get back to Advair. If you used Dulera for such months and no results (none better than Advair), then better get back to Advair.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini,
