Suggest Tests To Check Any Fertility Problems

Hi,
I am married for 2.5 years. We have been trying for kids since past 4 months but unable to conceive. I was diagnosed with Hypothyroidism an year and half ago and since then am taking medicine regularly and the thyroid levels were normal since past one year.
Would like to know any tests need to be done to check if there is any problem.
Thanks

Hi,
The hypothyroid state is not to be worried about once it has been corrected; the maintenance dose needs to be continued. I would ask you to see an infertility specialist if you cannot naturally conceive even after sincere trial for a year. You would then need a complete examination, pelvic/trans-vaginal sonogram, complete hormonal profile, tubal patency tests, blood counts, urinalysis, and ovulation monitoring. Your husband also needs to be tested with a complete examination, blood counts, urinalysis and semen analysis. Hope your query has been answered.
