Suggest Supplement With Enzyme Xylose

My son is 12 and has been diagnosed with a fructose intolerance after having the hydrogen breath test done. I am looking for a supplement that has the enzyme Xylose isomerase in it to help with the absorption of the slight amount of fructose he may get, am not having any luck finding this. I have already cut out all the fructose I can from his diet but there are still fructose just in plain fruits and vegetables so it is impossible to cut out completely. I was hoping this will help and how and where to find it.

Hello,

Best thing is to avoid fructose contain food. Give a low FODMAP diet. Use digest syrup which may contain enzymes that lyse the fructose.

If symptoms not improved please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care
