Hello
Thank you for asking the question.
You had stopped breast feeding. The problem is there is still breast secretion without feeding the child. The condition is known as galactorrhea.
There are many causes of galactorrhea. Physiological causes are hormonal imbalance- main hormone for breast secretion is prolactin.
Pathological causes are idiopathic hyperprolactinemia, prolactinoma, etc
Investigation like prolactin level, thyroid, renal function test will tell the etiology.
Sometimes galactorrhea remains for 2 years after stopping breast milk.
Commonly used drug is bromocriptine which may be helpful but use after consulting doctor.
Hope this will be helpful to you.
