My father has been taking amlodipine for about a year now. He started noticing a right hand tremor. We never made the link till this afternoon. He wants to quit taking the meds, but I have advised him to keep taking them till he sees his primary MD. Is there a substitute med. he can get that will not have the side effect of the hand tremor? Thank you.

Physical Therapist or Physiotherapist, Laxman's Response
Better go for physio once they will suggest you some exercise which will definitely help coz here you have not informed but i think there will be some gait disturbances and slowness of movement too .so Physio is also must with medication.
