Suggest Remedy For Problems With Bowel Movement After Hysterectomy Surgery

I had a hysterectomy for fibroids 3 years ago. I experienced wound dehiscence and the wound took over a year to heal. Since then I have had increasing difficulty with my bowels, with extreme bloating, weight gain of close to 100 lbs, and extreme flatus. I fluctuate between diarrhea and constipation. I am afraid to go for tests because I do not want more surgery.

Hello,

You may be developed irritable bowel syndrome.

Few studies have shown that there is chances of development of IBS after hysterectomy and cholecystectomy.

Avoid spicy food and caffeine drinks.

Use tablet pantoprazole. If symptoms not improved please consult your doctor he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
