Suggest Remedy For Problem In Pregnancy

Hi, I am 29 weeks pregnant, the doppler test suggested baby poistion to be head down, face on right side and single loop of umbilical chord around neck. Is it true that once head down position in attained it will remain like that and I have high chances of normal delivery , can I have normal delivery with existance of single loop ?

At 29 weeks the baby can frequently flip around and it may not be head down later in the pregnancy, but 99% of babies become head down (if not already) by 36 weeks even if the position of the fetus changes in between. In addition, 20 percent of normal pregnancies have a cord around the neck at birth and have no complications. However your baby could also flip around and unwrap the cord by the time it is born. So it is a good sign that the baby is already in position and if it stays that way, even with a single loop of cord around the neck, you have a high chance of a normal delivery. I hope this answered your question and good luck with your pregnancy.
