I just had a colonoscopy yesterday. As soon as they placed the nasal cannula in my nose, it started burning. After the procedure, my nasal passages and throat were burning. The next day, I woke up with what appears to be a full blown case of sinusitus, sinus infection or something. I have never come down with this overnight like this, there was always a symptom or two in the last couple days before it was clear that I had a sinus infection. Could this be caused by the cannula? I have not had a cannula in my nose for 30 years and have in the last few years shown sensitivity to vinyls in other products such as electrode patches, plastic bandages, etc. This came on overnight and that is unusual. Thank you
