Suggest Remedy For Ear Problem

Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here...Hi! I was told that I have polychondritis on my ear. The doctor is puttig me on 3 weeks of prednisone, which I really don t want to take. What is the future like with this condition? I was also diagnosed with fibromyalgia, so I feel like I have been hit with a double whammy.

Hi,

Polychondritis - ears is usually associated with inflammation of other cartilages in the body. Causes is still not certainly known but to reduce inflammation Steriod like prednisolon is a good choice. However you need to take under strict obervation by physcian only.

Further fibromyalgia may adds to your problem. You might be suffering from autoimmune disease.

Advise: have a proper diagnosis by and immunologists and remain under care of him.
