Suggest Remedy For Constipation Caused By Folvite
My haemoglobin has fluctuated between 8.5-9.3 during the last 12 years. Recently my doctor prescribed folic accid tablets, one daily. I got from the chemist shop 5mg folvite tablet packet of 30 tablets. My questio is that Is this doze OK? I am unable to contact my Doctor. Please advise. I feel constipated since I started on this a few days ago.

This dose is okay, you can keep on taking it. Constipation is a common side effect to iron and folate supplements, you can take a laxative.
