Suggest Remedy For Chest Tightness And Fatigue

I have had chest tightness and fatigue for a few weeks. My doctor noted that I had strep throat earlier and did not finish my Rx. He said my lungs sounded clear, but would treat me for pneumonia. I was given a RX, and sent for chest xray. I finished the Rx and was told that my xray was clear. I am still having the tightness and fatigue. I am a 36 year old female in otherwise great health.

Cardiologist 's  Response
Hello,

I would explain that your symptoms could be related to a metabolic disorder or a lung disorder. For this reason, I would recommend performing further tests:

- pulmonary function tests
- complete blood count for anemia
- blood electrolytes
- thyroid hormone levels for thyroid gland dysfunction.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Ilir Sharka, Cardiologist
