How To Cure Chest Tightness When Coughing?

experiencing cold symptons sneezing, coughing and severe runny nose with headache/pressure. Today, I am experiencing chest tightness when i cough. I m currently taking a Homeopathic coldcare treatment. should i be concerned about chest tightness when I cough.

Hi,

The chest tightness could be due to muscle strain induced by a cough. But still to be sure it's advisable to investigate with chest x ray for and EKG for further work up.

You should take decongestant tablet like Levocetirizine or phenylephrine for relief from cold. Apply a hot compress to the chest for soothing. For a headache, paracetamol sos can be prescribed.
