Hi, Eighteen days after my hysterectomy I started hemorrhaging. Had to be rushed into emergency surgery. Now I m super paranoid. I was five minutes from the hospital doing bookwork for one of my clients. I live 45 minutes from the hospital. May have been a bad outcome had I been at home when it happened. No pain. All the incisions were healed for like a week. Was it something I did or the doctor?

General & Family Physician, Dr. Nishad BN's Response
Hi Thank you for asking HCM I have gone through your query. The bleeding you had is a late bleeding after surgery. It can be due to infection or due to over physical exertion you might have did. When you get such symptoms you should approach your doctor or ER as soon as possible because there can be a concealed bleeding which can endanger life. But nothing to worry about what had happened before.Get adequate rest.Have a regular follow up with your gynecologist. You will be fine. Hope this may help you.Let me know if you have any further query. Thanks..
