I am a female and have noticed awhile back that I had a few small lumps in my genital area, between the lips and my legs. At first I thought they were ingrown hairs but they have not gone away, but they also haven't gotten bigger or spread. They are not sore and I have unprotected sex with my partner, who has no signs of having the same thing. I went to a walk-in clinic but the nurse said it was folliculitis or something, but through doing research I have realised that STIs and skin infections to that area all look the same, any way I can tell what's going on down there? Also can you explain what a Folliculitis Bartholin cyst is please.
