What is the average duration of life left for someone with Sclerosing Cholangitis once symptoms have presented such as itching, bloating, swelling of the legs, fatique, etc. My mother is 76, while female with NH lymphomia for the last 15 years. She has had her spleen removed and carries fluid in her lungs quite often. She is practicing a low sodium, lot fat diet and taking fluid pills. I was wondering how much time approxiately before liver failure after the above mentioned symptoms have started.
