Suggest Possible Treatment For Asthma

I've had asthma for many years. Tapered prednisone normally works very well. i am having severe trouble breathing for the first time in about 6 years and the prednisone isn't working. had negative chest xray. this is my second, higher dose series of roids in a week and i dont feel a change. do i head to the er?

As per your complaint of asthma you should consult a pulmonologist and sholud do pulmonary function test PFT , to diagnose asthma.
For asthma treatment you should taper steroids after consulting your doctor.
