Suggest Medication To Cure Recurring Ear Infection In An Infant

my one year old boy is suffering from ear infection, this ear infection has recurred with in a span of 15days he has been treated with antibiotic Augmentin Duo-5ml -5 days & after 5 days his earinfection is gone but he is still having cough & cold and is prescribed Alaspan syrup. What should i do should i continue the antibiotic for two more days or should i hive him the alaspan syrup. My son weighs 12.5 kgs and is 12 months old.
