hello, thanx for ur query, pus from ear since childhood, reactive with water per ear or common cold indicates ur a case of chronic otitis media with perforation in tympanic membrane. u may require surgery to improve ur hearing and stoppage of pus. medications will be time being to stop pus. u can avoid swimming, water per ear during bath, visit an ent surgeon for evaluation and rx.
