Suggest Medication For Swelling Under The Eye Due To Stiches

I had an accident and sustained a deep cut on the lower part of the left eye. It was stitched. However, that part (the stitched area) is still swollen. I don't know if it is normal. I hope it will go down and the scar will probably remain. So what ointment can I use to make it go down and to make the scar less visible cos it is on the face?
