Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here...A friend of mine is on statins and depresion medication. Her eye preasure is much too high and even medication and drops fail to normalise it. She is wondering could the medication be the cause of the high eye preasure as there is no disease of the eyes? antidepresent drug may not be responsible for pressure ineye. cosult eye doctor and investigate for finding the cause of glaucoma. can do water drinking test, darkroomtest, drug induced test. gonioscopy to see angle of eye. field tracing fundus examination to see cupdisc ratio. with all investigatio cause of glaucoma can be diagnosed.
