Suggest Medication For Severe Itching Outside Vagina

I had a baby 4 weeks ago with a 3rd degree tear. I went to my dr 10 days ago because of major itching on the outside of my vagina. At that time she said it was due to the stitches healing. That itching is still there. I have been using vagisil but it still itches. There is no cottage cheese like discharge and it does not hurt to pee. Could this stool be a yeast infection?

Hi dear,
I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. If there is no vaginal discharge or bleeding associated with itching, then it is likely due to the healing of the stitches.
When the stitches heal, they can cause some reaction leading to itching.
You can take some antiallergic for symptomatic relief.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
