Suggest Medication For Hashimoto S Disease

Hello, I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism approximately 2 years ago. For about a year and a half I have taken a low dose of synthroid and my levels have been normal. For insurance reasons, I went a month without my medication. I then returned to my medication (a different brand than synthroid). During my time off of the medication, I experienced swelling in my throat and neck. This did not reduce when I began medication again, although my horomone levels are normal. I had a sonogram of my neck and after further tests, was diagnosed with Hashimoto s disease. I received this diagnosis a few months ago. My symptoms include neck/throat swelling, shortness of breath, light headedness, mild depression, anxiety, occasional swelling in my knees, hands, and feet, and as of a few days ago, chest/lung pain. Is this normal? What more can I do to feel better? I also have a family history of hypogammaglobilunenimia. Should I be concerned about that? The new chest pains have me worried.

hashimoto disease is autoimmune disease of thyroid. your body is making antibodies against thyroid tissue.. the good thing is you need not to worry .. you just have to take medication to maintain your thyroid hormone level in normal range.. surgery is not indicated.
