Hi
Thanks for posting your query on HCM.
I appreciate your concern for the gout and the dietary restrictions.

Gout is a type of inflammatory condition of the joints due to deposition of excess of uric acid level.
Following foods or beverages can increase the uric acid level in the body and hence to be avoided:

Alcohol, red meat (beef), sea foods (shrimps), beans, lentils, organ meals and their soups, broths etc.

You must drink plenty of water, should do regular walking/exercise.
Also the body weight should be reduced if overweight.

The above mentioned life style modifications along with drugs like Allopurinol help in reducing the raised blood uric acid levels and hence the gout.

Hope this answers your query.

Kindly rate the answer, if you are convinced.
