Suffering From Retinitis Pigmentosa. Both Eyes Affected. Suitable Treatment?

One of my uncle is suffering from retinitis pigmentosa . He is 35 yrs old. He is suffering from this disease since 1994. It ndstarted from his right eye (around 1990) but realized in 1994 when his left eye also get affected. Currently his eye sight is very weak. In daylight he cannot go out. He read snewspaper but with very difficultly. He has taken vaious teartments in Alopathic, homeopathy and aurvedic but none where effective. Kindly suggest the treatment.

This is an inhereted condition and patient usually have difficulty in vision. The field and vision both get gradual deterioration. In ayurveda we usually advise tab. sapt amrit loh and abhrak sahastra puti as these are goodimmuno boosters and improve eyesight. There is a procedure called akshi tarpan wherein medicated oil is filled over eye and patient is advised to open his eyes while this medicated oil is kept over it.There are specialized ayurvedic eye care hospitals in keral and bangalore etc. You can seek their opinion and get examined there.
