Hello. Your symptoms are very characteristic of eagle syndrome. In that syndrome, a bone called styloid is longer than normal, the nearby tissues (needed for swallowing, chewing, head movements) rub against the bone and causes pain.Even the carotid artery (very important for cerebral blood flow) can rub against the bone and appear a serious complication. Although surgery is not easy, is the only cure for the pathology. I wish you good health.
