Suffering From Colon Cancer. Did Not Take Chemotherapy. Another Doctor Suggested Genes Cancer. Refused To Treat. Cure? Remedy

My brother is cancer patient. Initially he was suffering by “ colon cancer”. Doctors operate him and it was successful. Afterwards doctors advise to treat him by chemo therapy . But the patient faced the side effects after taking chemo therapy e.g., body irritation, lose motions. Then the patient didn’t take chemo therapy again for next 6 months.Afterwards, the patient often felt pain in his belly, then doctor observed him again & advise to take chemo therapy in order to stop cancer area inside belly for 1 & half month but patient did not get healing, at last Doctor suggest him to go home because the desease is not curable now. Then we take him to another hospital, the Doctor abserved him & said the patient is suffering by genes cancer & also said the patient’s White blood cells is not increasing & finally they refused for treatment, Now he is lying on bed in home.
Now my request to u is to provide some advise if it is curable anyway now ?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi and welcome to HCM.
Unfortunately you should trust doctors. During the surgery it can bee seen is cancer involving surrounding tissue or it is localized only in colon. If chemo was advised then he obviously had this second situation and this is not curable anymore.
Chemo and radiotherapy are used when surgery cant hel but ih has serious side effects and many contraindications. One of them is WBC decrease. ANd if this is notice, chemo must be canceled. You need to encourage and support your brother not to give up. Honestly, there is no specific treatment now. He can try to wait is his blood tests gonna recover and then consider chemoth again.
WIsh you good luck.

Oncologist, Surgical Dr. Rohan Khandelwal's  Response
Sorry to hear about your brother's problem but it seems that he is suffering from stage 4 colonic cancer, which has a poor prognosis. The only treatment which can be offered at this stage is palliative care in terms of pain relief.
As his WBC counts are also low, no chemotherapy can be given to the patient.
