Sprained Ankle. Using 5mg Oxycodone Prescribed For Previous Injury. Instructions?

I am inquiring about the use of a 5mg dose of oxycodone for quite severe pain as the result of a badly sprained ankle 3 weeks ago. It is my own prescription that was prescribed to me for a previous shoulder injury. I m assuming it would be OK to take just one but I also have to know the instructions...with or without food etc.

Hi there ~

It is advisable to see a doctor for any kind of health problem. If you have had experience with oxycodone from before and it has helped with injuries and related pain issues, it is recommended that you take the medication with food. I hope this helps.

Take care and have a nice day !
