General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Your symptoms seem to be related to a sprained ankle. I recommend using Ibuprofen 600 mg for the pain. I also recommend using cold compresses for local application. If the symptoms continue,I suggest to do an X-ray of the ankle to exclude a fracture or infection.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
