Soreness In Nasopharynx, Pressure, Ache In Head, Neck, Swollen And Painful Upper Jaw, Pain To Open Mouth. Related To Cold, Flu?

Hi, I recently have caught either a cold or the flu. I had a soreness of my nasopharynx. Pressure/aches in my head and neck. I had noticed a swelling in my upper jaw posterior/adjacent to my last molar tooth on my left side. It is quite painful, and sort of feels like it is in my cheek. It hurts to open my mouth all the way. I was wondering if this is related to the cold/flu. Is it my parotid gland?

HI
Thank for asking to HCM
This is not due to the parotid gland infection or any thing wrong with gland, it could be viral infection or a allergic constitution in either of condition symptomatic medicine would give very good result, try acetaminophen+ Ibuprofen along with second generation antihistamine levocetrizine would be great, just two to three time in day, and take rest have hot drinks will come around soon have good day.
