Sore Nodule In Front Of Neck, Headache, Tiredness. Normal Thyroid Level. Infection In Lymph Node?

I have what one doctor thought was thyroiditis but blood tests for thyroid hormones were normal. A second opinion was an infection in the lymph nodes in my neck. Symptoms for 3 weeks now. At my last appointment my blood pressure was 148/90, but it's usually low. I have a sore nodule in the front of my neck and pressure on my neck. I've been more tired than usual and get headaches and neck aches in the back of my neck by the end of the day.

Hi!
Welcome to HCM!
Even if your thyroid tests are normal sore nodule can still be originating from thyroid or can be a lymph node or infected cyst. All thyroid swellings do not disturb normal thyroxine levels.
Get a FNAC done it will give a definite diagnosis then treatment can be initiated.
Take care!
