Small Quick Burns Like Spots Near Complete Hysterectomy Area, Discomfort. Is This Normal ?

It's been a year since my complete hysterectomy. I had everything removed, ovaries, uterus, cervix, tubes plus a bowel resection. This week I've been experiencing small quick burns a little in spots that were operated on. Hard to explain, but where I know organs were, that's where I'm experiencing these discomforts. It's not all day and it's not distracting, but it does concern me. After my surgery last year, I did not experience any pain at all thank God. Now I'm feeling a little all of a sudden this week. Is that normal even after a year? Could it just be gas?

Hi, Thanks for using HCM.

Mild abdominal discomfort could be due to increased intestinal movements. need not have to worry.
As your post operative period was uneventful, its difficult to relate your symptoms to surgery which was one month back.
If you notice other symptoms like change in bowel movements, increased pain abdomen or distention, get USG abdomen done for bowel obstruction.

Consult your doctor for examination and management.
Hope I answered your question. Feel free to ask me if you have any further queries.
Wish you good health. Take
care.

Regards
Dr. Vidya
