Hello Doctor! I am a 37 year old female. About 3 months ago, I developed a small, itchy patch of skin, just below the inside bend of my elbow. I thought that this was just a patch of eczema, that seems to respond somewhat to some prescription strength steroidal cream; however, just last week, I noticed that directly under the patch is what seems to be a cyst-like lump. It's not painful, doesn't move around, and has clearly defined round edges. It's not a huge protrusion from my arm, but has about an inch and 3/4 diameter. Just wondering if this is something more, like a lymph-node issue? Is this something worthy of going to the doctor for, or should I just treat it as the eczema? Thanks for your help!
