Small child, loss of appetite, stomach bloating, feeling warm, diarrhea. Treatment?

Hi, I am concerned for my 20 month old daughter. She has been sick lately, and she has not eaten much today although her stomach is hard and bloated. She is sleeping now but seems warm but no fever . I am going to call the pedi tom., but I m wondering if I should bring her in tonight to the clinic. Today she had diarah..

Thank you for your query.
Most likely she has a viral gastroenteritis.Give her lots of fluids,a probiotic syrup some yogurt and rest.Him her some antispasmodics for tummy ache.Avoid milk,fruits and wheat products for a while.Give her paracetamol if she has fever.Hope this answers your query.Wishing your child a speedy recovery.Have a nice day.
