Sinking Feeling In Chest, Breathlessness. Trouble Sleeping. What Is This?

Hi my name is kyle. I ve had trouble sleeping lately because of this sudden sinking feeling I get in my chest when I lie down. I no longer feel my heart beat when this happens, and it frightens me awake. I have to struggle slightly for a breath when coming out of it. It s happened three times in the past thirty minutes of trying to sleep tonight. What is this???

If this happens only while lying and not otherwise then I believe that you should Get a xray chest and 2D echo done to rule out anything related to the chest or heart
