Shoulder Pain, Local Steroid Injection, Temporary Relief. Permanent Treatment?

My wife is suffering from serious shoulder pain , she is 33, She is suffering from the pain since last 3 years, we have consulted local Doctor’s , but nothing positive received. Every time they inject local steroid for temporary relief . Now the radius has increased and the pain too. I am disparately looking for a permanent relief because

Hi there. Thank you for posting your question with Healthcaremagic. I will do my best to help you.

Your wife is probably suffering from a rotator cuff injury. She needs gentle physiotherapy and analgesics like paracetamol.

But she also needs an accurate diagnosis and this might mean seeing a specialist in shoulder pain. She may need X-rays and MRI scan. Just injecting steroids here and there is not going to cure this.
