Should Tell Doctor About Dry, Hacking Cough And Fluid Filled Feeling In Chest?

Hi! I had an upper endoscopy this past Monday and was diagnosed with esophagitis. Yesterday and today I have been developing this dry, hacking cough, and at times it almost feels like fluid is in my chest but nothing is coming up. Should I notify my doctor about this?
