Should I Take An MRI As I Hit My Seven Iron Really Hard?

Wow! Yes! I hit my seven iron really hard this morning and pulled something in my outer hip. Very sharp localized pain about the size of a dollar bill, Burns, wincing pain, buckled my leg. I iced it, took advil, rested. Should I give it a day or two or go get an mri?

I do not think that for getting hit by a golf iron you need to get MRI for that. At present you should keep on applying ice, take painkiller like diclofenec or brufen. If pain progress than you can get ultrasound of hip joint to see if there is hematoma collection. Wait for some time for that also. There is never an indication of MRI for such injuries.
