normal sized anteverted uterus with thickened endometrium
Hyperechoic structure posterior myometrium as described. Cannot rule out calcified
myoma with cystic degeneration vs adenomyoma
Normal ovaries
Suggest repeat scan after adequate bowel preparation

Thanks for writing to HCM

Yes,you should go for repeat scan.Present scan report is not very informative.
According to reports,uterus is normal in size with thickened endometrium.There is hyperechoic structure in the posterior uterus,it may be due to fibroid with cystic degeneration or adenomyoma.
You need repeat scan after proper stool evacuation so that lesion is better characterized.
Fibroid and adenomyoma both are benign tumour of the uterus.
Treatment of fibroid is both conservative and surgical depending upon many things like age,family is completed or not,symptoms etc.
You should consult gynecologist.
