Should I Be Worried About Deranged T4 Level During Pregnancy?

I am Smita Srivastava, and now i am running in 30 yrs.I am pregrent and this is my second child, Rite now my weight is 80kg. and height is 5-7inc.Actually i am worried for my thyoriod becoz this is my fifth month running , and till my third month my thyriod was normal, when i was in US. but last month I moved to India and around 15 days back I have gone for all TSH,T4,T3.but reason for my worry is that TSH N T3 is normal,but my T4 is increased by one digit.i.e.it should be in a range between 4.50 to 12.60 and it came 13.so do I need to councult a Thyoriod Dr. But my gyno is saying there is no need to councult to Thyoriod Dr. so what u will suggust me??

No, need to worry.

Your gynaecologist are right and you should follow him.

As your report is just one point above normal there is no need to worry. If the margin between normal and abnormal is more you should worry and you have to take the thyroid hormone supplement.

Right now you should take good diet natural diet like green leafy vegetable, fruits and other.

Avoid eating cabbage, as it's goiter causing and and decreases the thyroid hormone level.

Take good sleep and peace the mind it helps in recovering your hormone level.
