Should I Be Concerned As I Am Having A Tightening Feeling On My Left Ovary?

Hello, 2 years ago i went to the doctor as i had a tightening feeling that i can only describe as someone grabbing my left ovary. It isnt painful but is constantly there and usually stronger when im lying on my side. They did an ultrasound scan and said i had a harmless cyst. But lately this tightening feeling has become more noticeable. I have just come off the pill (3 months ago) as i am hoping to get pregnant, and wondered if this could be why? Should i be concerned? Either about the cyst developing, or it preventing pregnancy, or even something else?

Hi,

1) The tightening feeling may be unrelated to ovary as it could be something else and cant be sure that it is from ovary.

2) Please get an ultrasound scan done which is only way to see if there is cyst / endometriosis etc..

Please repeat a transvaginal scan for confirmation of ovary.
