Should Fertibex Pills Be Consumed Throughout In Patients With Hypothyroidism?
Hi...
Doc am worried am not sure if i have hypothyroidisim my TSH level was 3.5 and my t4 was bit lower than normal at .82 the doc prescribed fertibex for me . does this mean i have to have these meds all my life . I have been trying to get pregnant will this impact . How long does the medicine take to have effects.
If u are planning for pregnancy your TSH has to be below 2.5. That may be the reason why your doctor has prescribe you this medicines. The thyroid is only slightly under active, so you may probably can stop the medications after while.
The medication take 2-4 weeks to normalize your thyroid function test. Your doctor may a thyroid antibodies test to see if you have to take the medications over a longer period..
All the best
