Should Mirena Causing Bleeding, Pain And Other Symptoms Be Removed?

I had a mirena inserted about 3 months ago, I have had horrific pain since, bleeding heavily, with a days break every now and again, bad wind, vomiting due to severity of pain, i have passed out a few times too, and passing very large clots and I keep getting, almost a rheumatic pain down my hips and thighs. I am taking codeine and paracetamol for the pain, but it is not helping. Should I get it removed? If I can feel the strings, does that mean it is definately in place properly? thanks
