Does Mirena Cause Pregnancy Like Symptoms ?

I have had the mirena in since oct. 2013 and have not had any problems. The symptoms im having lately feel like they are pregnancy symptoms amd along with that, I ve had really bad lower back pain my shoulders kind of hurt, my breasts are sore, I began having a little cramping on the left side of my pelvis, and i missed my period last month,January. My period came in the beginning of this month but it was very light and it came way to early than I would normally have it. I have taken 2 tests about a week ago and both showed negative. Any idea about what is happening?

I would recommend seeing a gynecologist- you may need an ultrasound or an X-ray to evaluate correct positioning of the iud. also it is possible there might be some inflammation from the iud that is causing your back pain which wold be best evaluated by a gynecologist
