Should I Wait For Cramping And Diarrhea To Go Away Even 2 Weeks After Taking Myrbetriq Or Take Another Medicine?

I have taken Myrbetriq for 2 weeks now and although I do have some irritable bowel symptoms, I have had cramping and intermitent severe diarrhea. Is it worth waiting it out with hopes it will go away or would you recommend trying another one of the mouth drying incontinence drugs?

Hi,

Before running into conclusions, it is necessary to know if you have any tests that determined irritable bowel syndrome (IBS).

There might be other underlying causes associated with diarrhea or worsening it:
- stress/anxiety
- intestinal parasitic/candida infection
- malabsorption.

I suggest to take:
- tasectan for diarrhea
- otc o.r.s and probiotics
- drink plenty of water
- avoid foods provoking diarrhea or worsening of the symptoms.
